The Ropley King's Singers

Conductor, Alison Benton

The Ropley King's Singers is a friendly, welcoming Community choir based in St Peter's Church, Ropley.  Formed in 2023 to sing at the Coronation Celebration in St Peter's the choir has around 40 members but is always looking to expand.

The choir does around two concerts per year - Advent and Summer and these are a mixture of sacred and secular pieces - some more classical, others more relaxed and jazzy.

Membership is open to anyone - no previous choral experience is required and there is no audition.  Some members can read music, most can't and all the parts are taught in the fun and friendly rehearsals.  Rehearsal tracks are also provided for home study if wished.  The choir is free of charge to members - we just ask that you encourage friends and family to come to the concerts.

Rehearsals are  on Friday evenings from 6pm - 7.15pm in St Peter's Church in the 8 weeks or so leading up to each concert.
